Thanks for your answer, the timer seems to work because I can move it with my fingers. There is one knob with an outer ring, I can turn the outer ring to make the washer work but it's obviously very difficult, it used to work with the Knob now it does not. I pulled the knob off and the plastic gear appears to be broken, I would like to replace that plastic gear.
ANSWER Hello John. You will need to replace the timer knob WH01X10310 to replace those gear teeth. They are made onto the knob.
