When a load is washing and the first rinse cycle is complete, it will not move onto the spin cycle. It just stops at that point until we move the dial forward manually. I also have the hot water turned off in the wall because it will just continue to fill the basket no matter where the water selector is positioned. Thanks for any help.

Kurt for Model Number vwsr4150daww

ANSWER Hi Kurt. Has the timer been sounding like a rattle or a buzzing ? It is a (quick) bad indication of needing a timer part # WH12X10297. If you have to manually advance it to the next cycle then you need to replace it. Since you need to shut the house spickett off to stop the water input, then the water valve part # WH13X10024 solenoid has stuck open and needs replaced. Thank You.
