Fresh food side is too cold even when set on the lowest number. Would like to test the thermistor. Question does one get it out of the fridge. The wires are hidden the the separator wall and then I presume go down to the motherboard. If it needs to be replaced how is the replacement done.
Thanks,

ANSWER Hello Joe,
You would not pull the thermistor out unless you are replacing it. The thermistor would have to be spliced into place once removed. You would check the thermistor at the control board. You may want to pull your tower from the refrigerator section and check the damper assembly WR49X10091 to see if the door on the damper is broken. This is the most likely cause for the unit to get too cold in the refrigerator section.
