My coil keeps frosting up. I,ve had the board changed and tested the heater element. Everything seems to be ok there. However, when I tested the the thermodisc there was continuity right at room temp. I thought this was supposed to be a closed loop until it reached a certain lower temp. Anyway, still cannot figure out the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Chopper for Model Number PDS22SBRBLSS

ANSWER Hello Chopper. If the heater is good and the board is new, it sounds like the thermistor WR55X10025 on the evaporator is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. This will prevent the defrost cycle from working.
