The fan in the freezer is making a clicking sound which is hitting on the ice forming. The refrig. did stop cooling and the things in the freezer defrosted. The water drainage area was cleaned out but it is happening just after two weeks. What could be the problem?

ANSWER Hi Rich. The defrost thermostat needs to read closed while at frozen temperatures. Part # WR50X133. The heater needs to read approx. 8-18 ohms always. Part # WR51X10028. Turn the defrost timer center dial to see if it is hard or sticky. Timer is part # WR9X483. Thank You.
