Freezer fine but top section does not cool.

You may want to check to make sure that there is not ice build up around the evaporator fan motor. To do this you will need to remove the lower section of shelving in the refrigerator compartment. Once you have the shelving out the lower floor of the refrigerator can be removed. When you remove the floor of refrigerator then there will be a styrofoam piece that will have to be removed. Once removed this gives you access to the fan motor and evaporator. Check to make sure that evaporator is not impacted with ice and if not check the heater and bimetal for continuity. If they have a good frost pattern then you will want to check the drain. If the drain gets clogged it will build ice and cause fan motor not to run. This ice would need to be cleared and drain cleaned out.
