My oven will not shut off. The dial does not line up or click off. I was informed that I need a new switch for this. Is this the thermostat parts # AP2023656? Would this be the right part that would fix my problem?

ANSWER Blondie, Based on your post description, The thermostat would be the place to start WB21X5287, If you're sure the thermostat knob WB3X5793 has not been damaged or is loose on the shaft. Thanks and Good Luck
