ANSWER Arnold, First, remove the drive belt from the transmission pulley, turn the transmission pulley several revolutions in both directions, this will verify a possible transmission issue. You can also attempt to run the motor in the spin cycle, with the belt off, If the motor runs, this would indicate a possible motor issue, if not you'd want to circuit check the timer contacts in both the agitate and spin cycles to verify the timer is not the issue.
