My GE washer is sporadically acting up... Many times it runs as it should from beginning to end. Other times Im told by my roomate that she does a load & returns sometimes 2-3 hours later & the indicator is still on final spin, but not spinning. (but will drain) She says she stops it & restarts it & its fine. My experiance has been completely different... I haven't had an issue with spin, but a couple times I noticed after fill, the motor humms with no other action... I'll stop it & restart & then runs ok. Also let me mention, after my roomates first complaint I replaced the Timer. Of course still having isuues... Any thoughts??

ANSWER Bostongeorgio, You will want to check the unit for voltage drop. If there is a voltage drop it can cause this issue. Since the problem is sporadic, and the timer has already been changed, the voltage drop would be the most likely cause of issue, especially since the unit fills and agitates.
