I ordered this part. It appears that a design change has been made to extend the Red and white/beige wires longer. I think I can work around that but the ultimate issue is the sex of the plugs on the connector are both male vs the old one being male and female. Hence the connector wont connect. How do I resolve?

ANSWER Hi Steve. You can use the female insulated spade connectors part # TJMA02588-1 and the male part # TJMA02532-1 to jumper these together. Use the striper/crimper part # MA-30428 to aid as well.
