My oven does not maintain the temperature. I do not know if its the thermostate or ingnitor and where is the thermostat?

Margaret I for Model Number jGSP48bOH3bb

ANSWER Hello Margaret, You would want to check the resistance of the oven sensor. The sensor should have a resistance of 1100 ohms at room temperature. If it is outside of this by plus or minus 50 ohms. If outside this range then the tempature sensor WB21T10007 would need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
