The tub or agitator grinds on the bottom housing. All works fine except the killer grinding sound. The tub sunk down. I recently opened it to remove a clogged pump, then after that the grinding began. Could it be the straps or is there something else that holds up the tub?

ANSWER Hello Robert,
You will want to check suspension rods to make sure that they are not damaged or broken. Also check the Washer apron to make sure that it is not bent. If you have a model with a 3 piece apron this is the most likely problem.
