Fill tube on ice maker keeps freezing. Ice maker works fine with manual fill of water. Removed water line feeding ice maker fill tube and placed end in an empty glass. Over time there is a small amount of water in the glass. Does this mean my valve needs to be replaced? And which one do i need the short or long bracket? Thanks.
ANSWER Hello James, Yes, if the icemaker is cycling, and based on the test you did, the water valve WR57X10023 will need to be replaced on the unit.
