This is the part I need, and the old one was definitely leaking where it shouldn't, but is there anything else I should consider replacing at the same time? The fridge is 11 years old, and has not given us any problems. Also, the water line could not easily be removed from the old valve ... is the new valve water line fitting a push into place style?

ANSWER DJ,
You would just want to inspect the tubing for the water valve to make sure that it is not getting brittle. The valve should be the only thing to replace and is a push in style connector for the tubing.
