Is it possible for the water inlet valve to only leak on occasion? I have a leak somewhere in that area--a lot of water on the floor-- but can't tell where it is coming from. I have turned the water supply line off and then back on, but still don't readily see the source of the leak.
ANSWER Hello Neil,
It isn't likely that a water valve would ever stop leaking after it began since the housing is made from plastic. They will normally leak worse and worse without ever slowing as the leak erodes its' way through the plastic housing. You will have to remove the kick panel and lay there with a flashlight while the unit is running in order to locate the leak.
