My water supply line burst twice, flexible hose, apparently too much water pressure. Would that be the water inlet valve needing replaced?
ANSWER Hello Sam,
If the water supply line burst, I have to ask if it is the small 1/4 inch plastic line that is meant by the manufacturer to be used only after the water inlet valve. You see, the small smooth plastic line is not designed to handle water pressure on it constantly. After the water inlet valve, the pressure it endures is only to divert water flow, but not to hold pressure. I suggest you use a stainless steel braided line 8212490RP to prevent any issues in the future.
