Once the ice maker is filled up with water, the line at the top of the refrigerator pops off and water flows onto the floor. Can this be caused by the water valve AP3189335 not stopping the flow once the ice tray is filled up. There is no water overflow in the freezer part. The GE refrigerator Model number is GTS18XCSARWW
ANSWER Hello Ed,
The ice maker fill tube will freeze up because of a failing water valve WR57X10033. When you replace the water valve, you need to use a hair dryer on the fill tube to ensure it is clear of any ice build-up.
