The water was gushing out of the icemaker, filled the bin and overflowed onto the floor. I presume this valve will solve the problem. Can this part be replaced without moving the refrigerator? I can't find it on the parts drawing. Can a woman do this herself?
ANSWER Hello CJ. If the valve has no power to it and it is leaking, you will need to replace the valve. Yes, you should be able to replace the part on the unit.
