I need to know if the water inlet valve can be replaced without moving the refrigerator as I can't find it on the parts diagram. Is it in the icemaker itself? Or where?
The parts in the parts diagram are numbered but I can't find a parts list to show me the name of the part along with the number. Where do I find the parts list?
ANSWER Hello CJ. Yes, the refrigerator needs to be pulled out. Then the power and water needs to be disconnected. Then access the bottom of the unit. Remove the water line and remove the screws securing the valve. Then unplug the wires to the valve and remove the fill tube. Install new valve in reverse order.
