View all Questions

1. What is the volume capacity of the water tank? 2. Specifically, which tubing lines can be replaced with the tubing in the assembly kit? 2.a. Should additional tubing be purchased? 3. The water tank is shown in the fresh foods plan, however, no such item can be seen nor is a means visible to uncover it. Is a diagram or are instructions available to 'find' the water tank for replacement? 4. Most important...have you found that a mold or other taste/odor issues occur in the water dispensing line/equipment AFTER the in-line filter? (that is my problem - potentially from little use by one person)

Robert for Model Number TFX22PPDA CC

ANSWER Hi Robert. The manufacture does not supply us with the capacity info needed. You can try to take the tank out and put chlorine bleach solution to soak in the tank for a day and thourally rinse it back out. The tank is part # WR17X10504. This really should clear most of the issue unless you want to replace the inner freezer door tubing. This part # is WR17X3669. There is a compression union that needs replaced under the freezer door that connects the 2-water line. Best of luck. Thank you.
