Hi! I had a terrible power failure in my house, after which the washer's inverter burnt completely (basically made a couple of explosions while the machine was working). I had it replaced with a new one (from you guys). Then I noticed that the control board also had a couple of components burnt, so I had it replaced with a new one also. While before replacing the control board it was giving me many error codes, now it consistently only gives me error code 22, which should be the water valve. I have checked it several times and it's not clogged or it does not look damaged. All the washer does is to take in water, turn the tub back and forth a few times and stop. After a while, it drains the water out (after having used the liquid detergent), and starts blinking. If I press the start button (again and again), then it sort of repeats the same process, counts down, until finally it spins, and then it quits. Sometimes it does not even spin and I have to do it with the drain-and-spin cycle, which seems to be working okay. Most of the time the clothes are not even wet and definitely not clean. I run the diagnostics and still all the components seem to be working okay, including the water valve. I do not use hot water, so I always choose tap water in the cycle. Why do I get error 22? Thanks for your excellent service!
ANSWER Hello JHS. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the valve WH13X10023 needs to be replaced. However, if the valve is good, then the water level switch WH12X10522 may be the issue with the unit. The power surge may have damaged it. Hope this helps.
