For GE Water Valve (Part Number: AP2071736)

The water dispenser initially would hum and take up to 20-30 seconds until water would start, and then work like normal. Now it does not hum or do anything. The icemaker works, although it is not consistently filling all the cubes completely, and the cycle time is long. Like others on this forum, I am a bit confused on which valve(s) I need - 134, 135, or 136. Can you explain how they interact, and which valve(s) I should replace in my scenario? Thanks.

Paul C. for Model Number GE Refrigerator Model TFS28PPBEBS

ANSWER Hello Paul, This sounds like either a partially frozen water tank situation or a failng water inlet valve. I would change the water inlet valves WR57X10023 and WR57X10024 and set the fresh food setting one number colder and the freezer section one number warmer.
