GE Profile fridge--Model PFSS6PKWASS Ice maker has stopped--installed new filter--pressure is good for water dispenser but still no ice or water in the icemaker-- took off water valve and blew thru both lines to make sure icemaker was not froze up--lines seem to be clear of any obstruction--Do you think the chances are that it is a bad solenoid/water valve??
ANSWER Dan, You're on the right track, The fill valve is the most likely issue, based on your post. If you have access to a multi meter, you can check voltage to the icemaker solenoid, from the icemaker to verify the icemaker control is working and the wiring is in tact. Thanks and Good Luck
