Not sure which part I need to replace, Microwave is about 7 years old, has been working fine, in very good condition. The control panel works completely clock, timer, heat setting know issue there. The unit just will not heat at all. Replaced the fuse, at the time the unit stop working wife noted a pop sound although the turntable inside tends to make this sound also. Note nothing appears to be burned out nor damaged. Would like an opinion on what I may need to replace to fix the problem? Will note the fan works fine. Please advise.
ANSWER Hello Tom. You will need to test the magnetron 6324W1A001L and make sure it reads less than 1 ohm. If not, you will need to replace the magnetron and the diode 6021W3B001U. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
