Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
My inner door is cracked, it has been for a while. I recently experienced a large leak, came home to a laundry room floor full of water. Could this be anything other than a complete door assembly? Does the door assembly come as one piece that I can change out, or is it many pieces that I will have to assemble?
ANSWER Hi. Yes the inner door crack will allow the leak if the door boot seal part # 3581ER1008Z does not seal against the door perfectly. It will leave water traces for show if this is where the leak is from. If you have a lower cover door for the pump, then make sure the pump is not clogged. Release the tubing on the back side of the cover into a bucket. Once all water is drained then you remove the pump cover and clean the catch and pump impeller area so it drains correctly. If the pump impeller is loose on the shaft then replace the pump part # 4681EA2001T. Thank you.
