When I turn on the washer it clicks several times and then dings and the error message dE appears. If I keep pushing in the start button 5-6-7 times it will finally start to fill with water. Sometimes in the middle of a wash it will stop and again display the error dE. There looks to be a small spot under the door that appears to be a tiny leak. Nothing but a stain - No water on the floor etc. Do I replace both the door sensor and the gasket? Thanks!
You will want to check to make sure that the door is fully closed and not coming open a little. If this checks ok then you will want to check for loose or corroded connections on the door lock assembly. If the connections are good then you would need to replace the door switch. The door seal should not have to be replaced unless you are seeing water leaking around it. It is possible with a bad door switch it could leak a little.
