I have an LG all-in-one with this pump, which is VERY clearly the weakest link. I've replaced it twice, and now... again.
Two things happen:
1) if anything with grit (garden soil) is washed, it gets into the impeller drive cavity with the magnet, and grinds the magnet until small, sticky balls of magnetic material form. This kills the pump.
2) The impeller, which is on a 2/3 free swing (why?) breaks loose. The small brass tab will break off, and there will be a grinding noise.
I've epoxied the impeller in place (solid) with some success, but it's broken again. It's more trouble to tip the thing over to replace than I'm happy with.
QUESTION: Is there an uprated pump?
I've seriously considered strapping a small utility pump to the outside of the machine, and connecting the wires...
ANSWER Hello Aaron. No, this is the only one for your model. Sorry.
