Thought replacing the belt would help with our situation, unfortunately it did not . When we start the cycle you can hear the motor engage but it is like it just does not have the pull to get the drum rotating. So you physically have to turn the drum and close the door fast enough to get it going, although it is getting worse and worse. Cleaned the whole dryer out and replaced the belt. Cleaned all the wheels and lubed as well. Once started, it's fine, until the next load!
ANSWER Hello David. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the motor 4681EL1008A is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
