The lint screen on my dryer no longer fits snuggly (it is the original part). It now catches clothes, etc.....why might this have happened...and what might the solution be? It is slightly lifted at both ends where it used to fit quite tightly.

ANSWER Hello Ellen,
You will want to check to see if you have lint build up that could be pushing up on the filter. Also the filter can become a little warped from use. To correct you would want to replace with new lint filter.
