I would like to replace the front door seal/gasket. The current gasket does not have a drain hole so water sits to get mold and odor.
Is it possible to use the newer gasket with a drain hole on the model wm2075 currently without a drain hole? Seems like a much better design.......just not sure where if the water would drain back into the tub for removal by pump? Thanks.
ANSWER Hello Roy! Yes, you can install the newer gasket with the drain hole on your product. You will, however, have to change out and install several parts. You will need to change out the tub cover MCK67291502, balance weight 4866ER0004A and the gasket 4986ER0004F. You will need to install a new hose 5214FR4058Y, hose connector 4932ER4007B, and clamp 4861FR3068A for the gasket to drain back into the tub. Thanks!
