Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
Hi I have the DLE5977W which of course is the electric version. I have recently learned my house electricity is somewhat overloaded, and that upgrading it is ridiculously expensive. Is it possible for me to convert my DLE5977W to a DLC5988W natural gas version by swapping out parts I can purchase here? If so, would it be just the heating element? or what all else might need to be swapped out?
ANSWER Hello Chris. No, you would have to replace everything on the dryer except the cabinet and the drum. It is more feasible to replace the dryer with a gas one.
