I have a LG Range, model #LRE30755SW. The right front dual element will only heat on the outer rim. The inner circle stopped heating entirely. Even on high heat, the outer works, but the entire inner circle will not heat. What are the odds that this is the wiring or that the actual heating element needs to be replaced? Any ideas are appreciated.

ANSWER Hello Beth. Yes, the coil could be bad on the unit. You can remove the element and check the ribbon in the element and see if it is broken, burnt, or bad. You can also test and see if it is closed for continuity. If not, or if it is burnt, replace the element in the unit.
