What is the difference between the Hi-Limit Thermostat
part number: AP4440975 and the Thermostat Assembly AP4440977?
Our dryer does get warm, but when the sensor dry is done the clothes are still damp. Wasn't sure if replacing one of the parts above or even the sensor would help?
ANSWER Hello Brian. 6931EL3001E is a thermostat for regulating the unit. The high limit is like a fuse and when it opens, it shuts down the heater.
