The fresh food door on our lg refrigerator does not close as it should. The bottom third on the freezer side is about a quarter of an inch away from the frame of the frig. Will replacing the lower hinge and stop assembly help this problem? I don't think the door is warped, bent or sprung.

ANSWER Hello Robinson. Check and make sure the door gasket ADX62799504 is good on the unit. If not, it can cause the problems your having. If it is good, and the door is not warped, you should fix the unit replacing the lower hinge assembly 4775JA2113A and the stopper 4621JA3002H. Hope this helps.
