My ice maker has quit making ice. I can turn off the switch and turn it back on. I hold the water amount button and the feeler arm moves down and up and water will go into the ice maker. The water will freeze but nothing will happen. When I turn off the power button it is hard to turn off. What can I do?

ANSWER Hello Lenn,
The ice maker assembly AEQ36756901 will have to be replaced to restore normal operation since no parts are available to service the ice maker.
