Ice maker dropping silvery dust. My refrigerator has been in storage for a while. I took it out and went through the installation procedure according to the manual. I replaced the filter and ran about 10 glasses of water through it and about 10 cycles of the ice maker. It's been 3 weeks now and the icemaker continues to "shed" a silvery-colored dust. It is in the ice and free in the bin. What is it? Do I need to replace the icemaker?
