I am trying to get an icemaker for my kenmore bottom mount refrigerator and was shipped this part 5989JA0002U but there was no water valve, hose or connections to attach to it. I have spoken with a sears appliance man who said this one would fit W10261234 but when I tried to order it through a parts store they said that was for a whirlpool and mine is by LG. Can you find the right icemaker for my fridge?

ANSWER Hello Patricia,
There is a not a full icemaker kit for this unit. The unit should already be set up for an icemaker. What should come on unit would be the fill tube, water valve and icemaker. The only thing that the unit does not come with is the water line from the wall to the refrigerator. We would need to have the model number of the refrigerator in order to assist further. *Immediately after, press and hold the Start and Pause/Cancel buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds.
*On digital readout display models, rotate the timer knob (1) click counterclockwise. The error code will appear in the
digital display.
