My ice maker just stopped working. The dispenser still gets water, but the arm on the ice maker doesn't move. Should I replace the ice maker or is there a Relay or something else to check? Thank You, Jeff
ANSWER Hello Jeff. With the ice maker turned on and holding the door switch closed, press the hidden button on the bottom of the ice maker assembly (its not visible but feels rubbery). If it does not cycle, voltage to the ice maker should be verified. If 120Vac is present at the ice maker harness, the ice maker assembly 5989JA1005D needs to be replaced. If it cycles but doesn't fill with water, the water inlet valve 5221JA2006D requires replacement.
