My icemaker has stopped cycling. It had been working normally, but now is just sitting there with the tray full and frozen, but the bucket is practically empty. The ice level arm is up.
I changed the water filter about a month earlier. I had just taken the bucket out to clear an ice jam, but am not sure if it ever cycled after that.
I can't even see how to remove the icemaker to "defrost" it and just check it out.
ANSWER Hello Dave. If there is ice in the tray, and it does not dump, you will need to replace the icemaker 5989JA1005D.
