My ice maker stopped filling the ice tray with water, the tube is not filled with ice and the rest of the unit seems fuctional. I ordered a whole new ice maker and replaced it, still no water filling, not sure what to do next, any ideas? I am mad at myself for spending $106.00 on a part I really didn't need, I have an extra one now I guess. Thanks in advance!
ANSWER Hello Jennifer,
You would want to check for power getting to the water valve when calling for water. You should receive 12 vdc to the water valve 5221JA2006D. If the water valve gets power but does not pump water then it is a bad valve. If the valve does not get voltage then it would more than likely be the control board since the icemaker has already been changed.
