Recently replaced the ice maker assembly with kit AEQ57518201 and still no ice! Is this the solenoid problem? What part # would I use to order this and is there a test I can do to see if THAT is the problem?? Thanks!!
ANSWER Vicki, To test the icemaker you'll need to press and hold the Fill Key for 3 seconds. The ice maker will run through 3 stages:
Harvest, Fill, Icemaking. 1. Turning the Icemaker stop switch off (O) stops the ice making function. 2. Setting the Icemaker switch to OFF and then turning it back on will reset the icemaker control. You're on track thogh, the fill valve 5220JB2010A is the more likely issue. Thanks
