My lg fridge model Lsc27926st is making ice but not dispensing water or ice. As I was pressing the buttons on the front control I noticed the small light in the dispenser wouldnt turn on. I had the bulb tested and they said it was still good. Is there a switch that would control those or is there a way to narrow down where to begin?

ANSWER Hello Stephanie,
You will first want to make sure that the child lock is not on. If the child lock is on the dispenser will be completely inoperative. If it is not on then you will want to check for switch operation on the dispenser. When pushed there should be continuity on the switch.
