I have the LG LSC26905TT; the ice maker works, but it doesn't turn off when the tray fills up. I'm trying to figure out where the lever/sensor would be that shuts the ice maker off when it fills up. I don't see any obvious lever that would be raised by the ice level to deactivate the ice maker. I see levers like this on other refrigerators, but not this one. Currently, I have to manually hit the off button on the ice maker when the basket fills up.
The ice maker lever would be located on the side of the icemaker module. If it is not there then it sounds like it has been broken off. If you look at the pictures under this part number 5989JA1005D, picture number 4 you will see where the icemaker arm is supposed to be.
