This microwave will not heat, beforehand there was intermediate arcing noise. I am suspecting the magnetron since the diode and the capacitor seem to have correct specs according to Multi-meter. I noticed that viewing the magnetron from the top there appears to be a crack in the magnet that is next to the interior cavity. But the crack is a straight line, and the picture of the magnetron above also appears to have this as well. Is the picture accurate, should there be a break in the magnet?
ANSWER Hello Garry. No, there should be no cracks in the magnets. If your magnetron 6324W1A001L is cracked, it will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
