Is a magnetron hard to replace? Is it something I can do myself? thanks
ANSWER Hello Verdugt. No, it is not hard to replace the magnetron 6324W1A001L. However, once the power is removed, you will need to discharge the capacitor to remove the magnetron. If not, you may get shocked from the capacitor being charged. The microwave will need to be un-installed and the outer cover removed to access and replace the magnetron and discharge the capacitor. Hope this helps.
