My fridge is only 2 1/2 yrs old. A glass fuse on the main circuit board is also blown. The circuit panel is under the cover that says (Tec only) it is the main circuit board. My question is what would make that fuse to blow? I see on post that this is a common problem with LG's. I would like to order the repalcement panel but affraid if it happens again then I would be out $200,and have to order another. Any suggestions?
ANSWER Hi Tracy. If you live close to the end of the power co. trunk line, then you will be succeseptacle to power surges and spikes. Have you had any storms lately. The main boards are touchy. You can protect it and all your 120vac appliances with a appliance surge protecter part # TJ041000. Your main control board may come with upgrades and look differently, part # is EBR41531302. Thank you.
