Someone asked the exact same question. My unit tripped a breaker in my basement also. It seems strange because it must have done it right at the end of a wash. (clothes were washed and spun.) Anyway, no lights at all on control panel. I removed the washer cover and checked the circuit board in the back and there appears to be no burns on the circuit board. (It was replaced a year ago anyway by a service company) I removed the control board in the front and checked it also. It looks fine as I also removed both circuit boards, and neither showed any sign of burns. It has 3 harnesses. One with 3 wires, and 2 with @ 10 wires each. All 3 are thin -1 is blue and 2 are white. The small white one has 3 wires and there is power (120v) at this point when the machine is plugged in. Again, no lights at control panel whatsoever. Thanks for any help you can give me.
If you are getting 120 vac to the control board, check to see if there is a fuse on the main control to see if it is blown. If blown the main control board would need to be replaced. If not then you would more than likely need the display control board.
