Digital display is dead but refrigerator runs fine. Would the main board have anything to do with the digital display?

ANSWER Hello Mark. Test for power to the display board. If there is power there, replace the display board. If there is no power there, replace the main control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
