My LG dryer shuts off after 2 minutes and will not turn on. the console lights just blink. When I try to push start, it make a half drum turn and dies. I took the vent duct off and found it overloaded with lint and cleaned it out. Is this the termostate or the main console problem? Please help.

ANSWER Hello Sam. You will need to check the thermistors 6323EL2001B and the thermostats 6931EL3002A 6931EL3001E. The thermostats should read closed for continuity. The thermistor should read around 10K ohms at room temperature. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
