Washer does not start on the power assembly their is a red light on. When I push the power button and I push the start and pause it does not start up the front panel does light up. I checked the power cord and outlet they are ok. What do you think is the problem?

ANSWER Hi Lou. You say the control panel lights come on. So is the door latch audibly clicking during lock ? If not then you need to replace the door latch part # 6601ER1004C. Thank You.
